“The White Hart is ideally placed at the top of Steep Hill with easy access to the castle and cathedral. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance in addition to the hotel's own a la carte and bar food menus. The shower and other plumbing were excellent which was all the more impressive given the age of the hotel and it's location at such an elevation. “離市中心一般，回酒店時要經過一條很斜很斜的路（Steep Hill），沒有自駕車極不便。 雖然有升降機到達3樓，但經濟房間那邊，仍然要經過約5至6級梯級，要搬運較重的行李箱極不便。 服務員，態度好。剛入住時，天氣非常熱，詢問要把風扇，第2天才有，已是幸運。”

“Friendly staff and spacious rooms, there is a great attention to detail with all the services we used. We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar staff were very high on service and make beautiful cocktails. There is a lovely bar on the top floor with views over the marina. Nice big comfortable bed in our room. The bathrooms are smart, the only criticism is that the temperature of the shower was a bit erratic. It’s nice that there is a safe and a kettle with tea and coffee also adequate plug……

“Overall the hotel was nice with a comfortable room and’s beds and great shower! We could have used a mini fridge but there were none. The lack of AC was a challenge as we stated in July and the temp was quite hotel at night, even with the windows open. No fans available either. The staff was very nice and kindly let is check out later which was really helpful.”

“The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. ”

“The location is excellent - so close to the castle and cathedral. There are two very good real ale pubs just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were lucky enough to get free parking the whole of the week. The weather was hot, so air-conditioning would have been nice, although its a listed building so probably a challenge.”
